Connected Study 63 is an original acrylic painting by Tavar Zawacki from the Connected series, featuring rich blue, dark blue, orange, white, and layered translucent movement.
This new chapter of the series introduces a sharper visual language: stuttered pulls, restrained color, and increased tension between overlapping veils. The process has been reduced to only three to four primary pulls, often working within a focused palette of two to three colors. What remains is direct and essential — line, form, pressure, and the visible evidence of movement.
Each Connected Study is a complete work on its own, yet Study 63 also forms the left panel of a natural diptych with Connected Study 64. Together, the two works create a tightly held composition built from a minimal palette, where rich blue and orange are separated and activated by a white underlayer.
In Study 63, the structure feels especially taut. The strong diagonal division and concentrated drip activity create a compressed tension across the surface, while the white passage sharpens the contrast between the warm and cool veils. The result is a restrained but highly charged composition, where color, pressure, and balance remain in close negotiation.
Each work is sold individually. All works are sold unframed. Framed images are shown for presentation only.
